Build Powerful Relationships | Thought Leadership | Peer Networking
Set in Montreal - a city renowned as a global AI hub - this CISO exchange brings together French- and English-speaking security leaders for a frank discussion on evolving threats and defenses. The theme "Zero-Day to Zero-Trust" captures the two extremes CISOs must handle: on one hand, the surge of zero-day exploits and novel AI-driven attacks that can catch even mature organizations off-guard; on the other, the strategic move toward Zero-Trust security to blunt these threats. Over a gourmet dinner, Montreal's cybersecurity community will share experiences in dealing with surprise attacks (perhaps a local tech company recounting how they managed a recent zero-day exploitation) and how those lessons are informing their Zero-Trust implementations. Are networks being segmented effectively? How do you authenticate and authorize every user and device in a way that doesn't crush productivity - especially in a hybrid multi-cloud environment? Given Montreal's strong academic AI scene, we'll also touch on how machine learning can help detect unknown threats, and conversely, how we can prevent AI systems from introducing new vulnerabilities. This bilingual, collegial exchange ensures no idea gets lost in translation - attendees will leave with a richer understanding of cutting-edge cyber defense strategies, a few new connections in the local CISO network, and actionable insights to drive Zero-Trust from buzzword to reality in their organizations.
